Speedometer Cable How Do I Connect The Speedometer Cable To The Speedometer?
How do I connect the speedometer cable to the speedometer? - speedometer cable
My speedometer cable broke on my 1988 Dodge Caravan. I bought a new cable car area, but when I tried on the back of the speedometer, I can not, the plastic clip to make a connection. It seems that the relationship between man and too long or does not conform to properly connect with the power connected. Did we need to trim down or do I need the speedometer before the other end to plug the drive shaft?

Hello there!
Please answer man DODGE IGNORE, because it is very bad!
First, I would like to compare the old cables and housing for new and make sure the same room.
If everything looks good, then reconnect the speedometer. It is much easier on the trans compound, after they are in the speedometer.
Because it is a cable end of the square, you must run the cable to achieve the correct threshold in the speedometer too.
If you do not try to insert the old cable to the back of the speedometer to ensure that no obstacle in the speedometer.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

You need to cut the cable-shaped, more than likely bought a cable universal, and is a little more like you, make sure that you place when it is not right common to the right of return, if purchased from the vessel, that is fair, make sure that the seats in the speedometer and the transmission before you install the clip, good luck.
